(Janesville, WI) Badger Property Investments (BPI) will add another 150,000 SF industrial / warehousing building to the Janesville-Beloit MSA available property inventory. The project, which will be located in the City's STH Business Park on Innovation Drive, will be designed to accommodate single or multi-tenants and have the capability of expanding up to 300,000 SF. Pre-cast concrete, 30' clear height and multiple truck docks represent a sampling of this property's amenities. While the project is slated for a spring 2019 market delivery, its construction schedule can be accelerated.
Since 2015, this building represents BPI's third speculative, and fifth, industrial / warehousing investment in the Janesville-Beloit MSA. "The city has really been helpful and cooperative in our efforts. Taking on the construction of a large industrial building on spec is not feasible without the city's partnership," said Tom Lasse, BPI principal.
Angus Young Associates will be providing building design and engineering services, while Gilbank Construction, Inc. will be performing construction services. The property is listed with Bill Mears (Coldwell Banker Commercial McGuire Mears & Associates).
To facilitate the project, the City of Janesville approved a Tax Increment Financing package.
According to James Otterstein, Rock County Economic Development Manager, "This additional 150,000 SF will increase the diversity of existing space within the Janesville-Beloit MSA and provide growth opportunities for existing and/or new firms that are relocating into the area."
