(Madison, WI) The Wisconsin Tomorrow Small Business Recovery Grant program began accepting applications today; and the application portal will remain open until June 7th.

Small businesses with annual revenues between $10,000 and $7 million are encouraged to apply. Grants will be capped at $5,000 per applicant.  Funding for this grant program is derived from the American Rescue Plan Act.

As The Lincoln Academy enrollment reaches 395, those with the school announced its designation as a Wisconsin Reading Corps site for the 2021-2022 school year, its mascot, colors and other programming are in the works. A program of AmeriCorps, Reading Corps specifically focuses on reading literacy for students in kindergarten through Grade 3.

(Town of Beloit, WI) Brad Allen, BDN

The Town Board approved two separate conditional use permits Monday for Kwik Trip to purchase the Paradise Guitars building at 921 E. Inman Parkway. Paradise Guitar, and the neighboring Stop N’ Go gas station will become the site for the new Kwik Trip.
