Store managers in the Janesville Mall were excited to hear details Thursday about a new tenant, as well as a multi-million dollar renovation plan.
Construction begins Monday on the mall's first major renovation since 1998 and it will be done through the evenings after the mall closes.The interior and exterior mall renovations are scheduled for completion fall 2015.
Rogers & Hollands, which is slated to open in the mall's center court location this September, is taking 1,500 SF of the soon-to-be vacated Diamond Center space. As a family-owned jeweler with 76 locations in 10 Midwestern states, Rogers & Hollands joins Dick's Sporting Goods and Ulta Beauty as new mall tenants this year.The Janesville Mall, which is owned and operated by CBL & Associates Properties, is anchored by Boston Store, Kohl's and Sears. CBL & Associates also owns East Towne, West Towne and West Towne Crossing in Madison; and malls in Brookfield, Racine and Wausau, as well.
