(Rock County, WI) – Rock County 5.0, in conjunction with the Blackhawk Human Resource Association (BHRA), released the results of their Salary & Benefits Survey. The Survey provides a comprehensive listing of hourly wages, covering nearly 70 specific occupational titles, as well as calculations for addressing "aged data". In addition to providing detailed salary information, employer benefits packages are profiled within the survey too.

The Survey results represent data reported from over 50 businesses / organizations, encompassing over 6,000 employees. For quality control and confidentiality purposes, a third-party human resources consulting firm administered the survey through a web-based platform. A sampling of the results are provided below:

  • The average general salary budget increase (attributed to merit, COLA, and promotions) was 2.1%. Meanwhile, the average pay range adjustment (increases to formal base pay ranges) was 1.8%. Hourly Shift differentials and other wage compensation offerings varied by specific position descriptions / classifications.
  • 100% of the respondents indicated that they provided health care coverage for their employees and approximately 96% offered dental coverage, as well. Over 86% of those responding noted that they provide employee flexible spending accounts.
  • Nearly 65% of the respondents indicated that they provided some form of tuition reimbursement.
As a value-added benefit to those organizations that participated in the Survey, they received the entire 130-page report. While an abbreviated version will be offered online, individuals and businesses have the option of purchasing the full report, as well. To order a copy of the report, please contact BHRA.
